Handster is owned by Opera, and is readily sue-able.

I get emails from these guys in my Market Developer Email spam folder,
offering conversion services I do not want. I don’t know if they
*would* have stolen any of my free apps, as I know for certain my
Widgets won’t run on any non-Android platform.

The original poster (@Doug) needs to clarify if he had *any*
relationship with Handster (approved T&C) or that he was genuinely a
victim of app poaching (did I just coin that)?

App Stores are big business, especially the provision free apps.
Blackberry is desperate for apps and may be paying Handster a
commission for each app submitted (though they don’t need to be aware
of the poaching).

You’ve got them for unauthorised manipulation and re-distribution of
your executable, passing-off (i.e. "Published by Handster"), and
remember you also have copyright on any graphics and text you used in
the Android Market.

Payouts for this kind of wrongdoing can be quite high, so it would be
cool to set a precedent.
