Regarding Amazon, I recently got a notice from them that they had taken down one of my apps because "it is not compatible with the Kindle HD" and to please fix it and resubmit. Well that app was put on their store before they even announced the Kindle Fire. It was an alternative for those who for some reason could not purchase it on Play usually for people who did not have a credit card but could purchase a gift card for cash at a store and use it. I knew well it used the Google API and that would be no problem if they actually "filter" apps with their store app. I also pointed out to them that I have a version of that app that ONLY uses the Android API and has passed as being compatible with the Kindle HD. Now I wonder if Amazon even knows what they are doing. As for comments on Amazon mine have been good.
