Normally I would agree... the only puzzle is that pulling the card out and putting it right back in again, all is back to normal. I'm doing this with the AC adapter connected, so it's "probably" not the battery.
If I can find a Windows Mobile device to try this on and it fails there too, maybe I can convince Ambicom to exchange it, since the manufacturer does not support Linux and would probably take the position that I damaged the device by plugging it in to the Zaurus.
