Oliver, as you can see in my original email I've tried modprobing arc4 without success. > This is an issue of the 2.6.24 kernel with ieee80211_crypt_tkip being built > without the arc4 module dependency. I think that if it was simply a dependency problem, it would be solved by modprobing arc4 manually. However the problem is still there even if I modprobe the arc4 before inserting the card. Also on my debian etch installation the dependencies are the same as in Angstrom and I have no problems with WPA (with 2.6.18 and 2.6.22 kernels). > Kernel 2.6.23 works. I confirm that (I said it in a previous email). Koen, the package versions of all related modules seem OK (2.6.24-r5). Also modinfo reports the same string "vermagic: 2.6.24 preempt mod_unload ARMv5". -- Grigorios Prasinos PhD candidate, Computer Engineering and Informatics Dept., U of Patras, Greece http://prasinos.eu/ PGP/GPG Key fingerprint: CDC7 BA79 3C5D 9520 F9F1 FC56 6B2A 2EEB 0227 C528 _______________________________________________ Angstrom-distro-users mailing list Angstrom-distro-users@linuxtogo.org http://lists.linuxtogo.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/angstrom-distro-users
