I also tried with '<lit v="être"/>'. I used it like this:

<lu>
    <lit v="être"/>
    <lit-tag v="lem"/> <!--(tried also without this line)-->
    <lit-tag v="a_verb"/>
    <clip pos="1" side="sl" part="temps"/>
    <clip pos="1" side="sl" part="pers"/>
    <clip pos="1" side="sl" part="nbr"/>
</lu>

It still outputs #être. Could you please offer me some guidance on what
could be the problem.

Thanks,
