I like the idea of featuring Today's tasks!  It would be wonderful to
have an option to make the todos that enter the list today (i.e., the
new ones) to be displayed at the top.

As to the OP's question... I use Todo the same way you and others
do... my focus is the Focus list.     It's a laundry list of items.
I've never understood tags or contexts;  I do use Projects, however,
to group those tasks that are related and that I never really get to,
but that clutter up my scrolling list.

The new ability to drag tasks up and down the main Focus list is just
incredible!  Elegantly implemented and solved my recurring daily
problem--reordering the items used to require going through many steps
for each item to change its date artificially.

What is the solution to a long list of tasks that one just doesn't get
to?  After a few days of seeing the same tasks, one just ignores them,
even though there's a vague feeling of unease seeing all that's not
getting done!  :-)    Maybe it's becoming independently wealthy and
hiring an assistant!
