This may be the official stance, however, until the 3.0 update, I have
never had a problem. And I have not had one since. Since I only use
Toodledo as a backup, this indicates that there was something about
the update that caused things to separate. At this point, I've put the
subtasks back in their respective projects in Todo. I've been syncing
with Toodledo every morning. If I look at Toodledo, all of the
subtasks appear as individual tasks. However, that doesn't get
reflected in Todo when I sync. I suppose if I changed something on
Toodledo, it might cause a change in Todo.

This highlights the need for a desktop equivalent of Todo or at least
the ability to back up the task database (on both PC and Mac).
