Dears, I had faced a very strange scenario today! I don't want to say that Appigo is buggy or unreliable and jump to conclusions, but I will tell you what happened in details then I will be waiting your urgent support.
Yesterday, I started finally to depend on Todo, and I started to update the tasks I got sync from Outlook then I started to create contexts and lists to organize them and every thing was OK when I sync them back with Outlook to reflect new tasks and updates. Today, from 1 hour ago, I was syncing again with Outlook as I did new updates on Todo, but I found that not all tasks are synced with Outlook, I have 41 on Todo and only 24 on Outlook, then I opened the log, and the surprise was that I found the same exception I got before and you told me to update Office with the patch and reinstall appigo sync, so it was very strange, why this happened!!! This is not the end of the story, it is just the dramatic start! When I saw the same exception message, I thought to uninstall appigo sync and reinstall the office batch then reinstall appigo, I did so, and tried to sync again and no task was synced from todo to out look, the only crisis happened was that all tasks from outlook are copied to Todo and things are duplicated, and all contexts and lists I created before were removed from Todo app. Then after that, I deleted all tasks on Outlook and deleted all duplicated tasks on Todo, and then I tried to sync again, but unfortunately I got an error from Todo saying: "error: check settings" I forwarded the log file from iPhone to support mail, and here is another copy: -- Synchronization Log -- 100413 1:27:21: ========== Appigo Desktop Sync ========== 100413 1:27:22: Checking AppigoSync version 100413 1:27:22: Starting Sync Session 100413 1:27:22: Platform: Microsoft Windows NT 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 100413 1:27:22: Service: Outlook: 12.0.0.6514 100413 1:27:22: Checking the desktop time stamps 100413 1:27:22: Syncing Lists 100413 1:27:22: 0 lists found on desktop 100413 1:27:22: 1 lists found in Todo 100413 1:27:22: Syncing Contexts 100413 1:27:23: 0 contexts found on desktop 100413 1:27:23: 0 contexts found in Todo 100413 1:27:23: Syncing Tasks from desktop 100413 1:27:23: 0 tasks to sync on desktop 100413 1:27:23: 1 tasks to sync on desktop 100413 1:27:23: 0 tasks deleted on desktop 100413 1:27:23: Syncing tasks to the desktop 100413 1:27:23: 21 tasks needing sync in Todo 100413 1:27:23: Error (61) updateTask: Unable to update task. I can uninstall every thing and reinstall, but my problem will be that how I use appigo Todo the proper way to avoid such crashes, this is very dangerous, and I can't trust unreliable app to hold my todo actions, for my business and personal use, it is big problem, so you have to help me get every thing running properly again , and let me know how to avoid crashes, and be on the safe side, until you build a solid sync mechanism without such fatal bugs! Appreciate your understanding. Thanks.
