Some years ago, a story-writer friend asked for similar help.  She had
dozens of stories written in Bank Street Writer on her IIe, and changed to
a Mac.

I used ProTERM-A2 to change the filetype to TXT.  Then saved the files to
an HFS formatted 3.5 floppy, and she could open them in ClarisWorks.

(Her Mac was one of the older ones - by today's standards - and sported a
3.5 floppy drive.)
