"][ in a Mac" is an old Apple IIe emulator that, IIRC, will not run under
7.x.x. It will definitely run only on 680x0 CPU's.

It does run on a Mac emulator that runs on my Amiga 3000. I also have a
65816 assembler and Pascal compiler that produces 6502 code. These both run
on my A3000. I acquired version 2.53 of "][ in a Mac" from an FTP site many
years ago but only acquired the communications disk with the last few weeks.
"][ in a Mac" has menu items that allow one to transfer disk images back and
forth over a serial cable connected to an Apple ][, if you have the
communications diskette. When I discovered that the comm. program wouldn't
work with my IIgs, I was forced to disassemble the code in order to create
source and modify the program to work with a IIgs.
