It's great to hear that Apple II's are still used in some schools.

I had a great time with those machines: playing Conan.  You see,
there are benefits to being a teacher's pet. ;-)  Spending many
hours programming: before school, at lunch, after school, during
class -- even non-computer classes.  Like I said, there are benefits
to being a teacher's pet. ;-)  Then there were all of those MECC
games, which probably had no educational value but were still a
great deal of fun.

I really wonder if kids today, on non-Apple II computers, can get
the same breadth of experience with the machine.  Particularly when
you are talking about programming, because there is no simple way
to make meaningful programs in an easy to use programming language
thesse days.  Particularly low level programming.

So, does anyone have interesting Apple II related school experiences
to bring up?
