Gotta agree here.  I tried it with the one I'm using  in the classroom, and 
it's a no go.
Holding the ESC key down during start up just crashes the computer.  Pressing 
it immediately after startup  does not slow the speed to 1MHz--the game 
continues to zip on by.  On the LASER 128/EX, keys 1,2, and 3 pressed at set up 
control the speed, but  I've never heard of anything similar on the //c.
