No--the disk drives used a different interface than the serial card. About the only thing you could use the SSC with was modems and printers.

There were rumored to be some SCSI disk drives that could be used with the //e or GS--obviously SCSI hard drives were always used, as well as a driver for the Apple-branded SCSI scanner. I never saw any of these (except for the HD's of course. :) )
