yeah, I just went back and looked at the formatted 14.4 disk and saw it 
had the same number of
free blocks as the 800K it was copied from. I'll re-format it for linux 
and stick to using the
lower density diskettes for the apple.

Oh well. Looks like I will have to go the serial route. That means I 
will have to make my own
null modem cable and dig up the usb-serial.

Then I need some way to bootstrap a terminal program into the IIC+ 
since I don't have one.
