ProDOS has a lookup table for getting the year. It goes something like "If
it's Aug. the 30th and it's a Tues. then it must be 2005. The program to
update ProDOS is the pdosclockup program that Bill gave a link to
yesterday.
The Y2K patches were more program specific--AppleWorks, A couple of Glen
Bredon's program, etc. I recently released with the help of Jeff Blakney
a patch that will change the hard-coded century code in EasyDrive from a
19 to a 20. (Jeff wrote it, I just put it in the ftp sites. :) )
