I'll do some studies on MP3 configuration and see what
can be done to implement it, but we might have to have
a method of converting the files to another format first,
then play those. Of course waves are 4 times the size of
an MP3.
Yeah, that would be a definite hinderance.
I'm not sure what other formats besides WAV would be an option for
conversion.

Yes, sure, except that HFS is not reliable on a IIgs.
Really? For what reason?
Aside from a small ProDOS boot partition, my IIgs hard drive is
completely HFS and I have never had any problems. Are there certain
activities I should avoid that could potentially cause an incident?
I've had the hard disk set up this way for a long long time without
trouble. <knock on wood> To be honest, I wasn't even aware there were
issues with the IIgs implementation of HFS. For the most part, all the
ZIP-100 disks I use with it are also formatted in HFS.
