Hi Thomas;

Well, that's not normally a problem for me as I normally only use DOS 3.3 on
disks that were partitioned into 32Mb drives specifically for my use.
I have had occasion to use stacker on a few of these drives and surprisingly
had no problem getting > 50Mb reported space.
My problems only appear when I wish to use my bootdisk on someone elses'
computer - to make my life simpler. As you say, DOS 3.3 can't recognize
the big partitions.

BTW, what attracts you to the latest bloated DOS ?

Ok. Does anyone know of a 3.31 version BESIDES Compaq ?
I have a fear of Compaq since a relatives' Compaq motherboard croaked and
we transferred his harddrive to a box obtained in a surplus store.

It works, but it keeps complaining about missing hardware.
