The long file names usually show up as short file names in DOS
software. Do you mean they didn't show up at all? (In that case you might
have one of those Joliet/Romeo/whatever MS format CDs.....re-burn it under
ISO9660 =)

Usually they show up short, as said before....It's just that some CDs are
without the short names (they have to be stored somewhere, you know =),
and you would have to reburn those in order to add short file names to
them.
