Some ISPs, mine for example, do not allow subscribers to use TELNET to
get into their email and do anything with it. I have been so informed
by the technical support people. My former ISP did allow TELNET access
to email and I was successful in using the Telnet program that was
provided as an APM for Arachne version 1.42b.
