This is what I inferred from reading about email services provided by
Telebot and Subdimension, only they call it an IMAP server. I can enter
the name of the IMAP server in the setup item for the POP3 server and it
works. That's how I got the idea that IMAP and POP3 are very much the
same. I now realize now that this was a misunderstanding. IMAP can do
things like POP3, but also it also offers many extended capabilities, such
as allowing the user to manipulate the mail and examine headers while it is
still on the server. That's cool. I would like to be able to do this.
Does anyone know of a DOS email client that will let you do this?

I remember several weeks ago reading a message someone posted in which
he stated that IMAP is an internet protocol. It did not immediately
become clear to me at the time that this protocol is very different from
the POP3 protocol. I now understand the difference, and would like to
actually use all the features that IMAP has to offer.
