Besides Pine for DOS, which is not being updated any more, there is Emacs with W3, which has IMAP and POP3 capabilities as far as I know. I know there is an Emacs for DOS, compiled with DJGPP, 32-bit, but am not absolutely sure if Internet capabilities are included in the DOS version. Emacs for DOS was on Simtel FTP site, and other places that can be found by Delorie's ZIP picker, http://www.delorie.com/djgpp/ You can also use Perl to write a script, or use an already written script, to access e-mail by POP3 (and IMAP too?), though I am not absolutely sure if the DOS version includes Internet capabilities. http://www.perl.com Or you can check the appropriate RFC for IMAP and access IMAP server by telnet.
