Hi Clarence & Bernie,
                       I tried DJPEG32 and found it converted
a jpeg to gif about twice as fast but it created a gif file
that was about 3 times as big as DJPEG16 creates. So, the
DJPEG32/gif took longer to read with Pictview than the
DJPEG16/gif. Picture quality looked equal.

Hardware: Gateway2000 4sx-33 with Intel Pentium overdrive
          1 mb video card - Trident
