Here are my results (off-line) with my 486DX4/100 36meg RAM, 3 meg
cache also cleared for each test. I use 800x600 resolution (not sure
about the color depth):
File: Size/Resolution DJPEG16 DJPEG32
sallye.jpg (89,728 bytes 1024x768)) 13 sec. 8 sec.
chrstmas.jpg (71,185 bytes 800x600) 8 sec. 6 sec.
I was surprised that there was a much less improvement on the second
file, since it was not a great deal smaller. I wonder if the color
depth makes a difference in the times?
