Try to make _MORE_ XMS available to Arachne !!!! (or have you misspelled K
and M ??)
Just for a test try to completely disable RAMDISK, and make all the 10 MB
available to Arachne !
And look if this helps.

On pentiums this should speed up arachne quit a bit (if you have enough
XMS)
