Clarence,
One computer dealer told me (1992?) about monochrome SVGA monitors used in CAD
that cost around $2000. Maybe such a monitor, used, would cost around $200?
Such monitors were never well-publicized, and I never hear about them nowadays.
Kali, regarding EGA, where would one find EGA cards and monitors currently? I
suppose they would only be available used, and would now be quite sparse as to
availability. But a BIOS might report EGA to include EGA-compatible, which
would then include VGA.
