Glenn, I'll play Watson to your Holmes anyday if it gets you to expound on
your discoveries. It is a shame that we have to rely on discovery in this
area. Many of us can benefit from your efforts. 

I know I will have more questions because a year or so ago, when I was 
trying to nail down some concrete rules for MIME.cfg, I found I was lost.

I must now check into my original questions to see if anything has become
clear, and also to see if my eyesight had already begun to fail. <G>
