hda is primary master
hdb is primary slave
hdc is secondary master
hdd is secondary slave

The numbers are the partitions. (where 1-4 are primary partitions, and 5-
are extended)

So if the linux partition is the 2. partition (extended) on your primary
master IDE, than it should be hda5.

If I'm wrong some linux guru will sure correct me :)
