 You've not understood....
Java has nothing to do with JavaScript.
(nothing, zero, zilch, etc... etc...)<g>

 Java is a programming language.

It is used for writing and running full-fledged run-on-their-own programs.

Running Java programs requires that the Java VM (virtual Machine) be installed
on the HDD.
Java is already available for *many* OSs.

JavaScript is a scripting language.

It is used to control what happens within Web browsers which are capable
of interpreting this scripting.

Interpreting of JavaScript requires a JS capable browser.
JS capability might (someday), be available in Arachne.

IMO,
Probably in the Linux version first.
Followed soon after with it's addition into the DOS version.
