simple task manager. As long as you are talking about programs that ALREADY

with the primary program running in main memory. 

That Task Manager could be VERY simple and VERY small.
I would write it if I was sure no one would complain because they can't run
two Arachne windows at the same time.<g>

DR-DOS 7.03 has a task manager (multitasker) in name only.  Memory allocation is
severely limited, I kept running out of memory with DOS Lynx386.  That problem
was resolved by rebooting and not running the task mismanager.

Many years ago, in the days of Windows 3.0, there was a Software Carousel for
DOS.  I never tried it nor saw it in action.
