Actually I don't agree on the last answer. They are (atleast sometimes)
lower than in Windows but of course not than they are in DOS. IMHO Pete
should have asked:
1. Are Linux programs easier to use than the same program in:
a. DOS
b. Windows
2. Are system requirments lower for equivalent functionality in:
a. DOS
b. Windows
You can't bundle DOS and Windows together like that and ask anyone to make
a good comparision IMHO.
