IMHO, the best on old comps is Geos or it's newer versions called New
Deal Office. This GUI runs very smooth even on "ancient" 386SX with 2
megs RAM, since You don't have to load any drivers for mouse, keyboard,
cache... All is done internally. The applications provided with it are
of good quality and usuable enough for the small office. Printing
quality is very good and old hardware is supported, too. Try to d/l a
trial version from http://www.newdealinc.com (warning: 6 megs). This is
fully functional except import/export filters and dictionaries.
