This is nothing new ....
Arachne STILL does NOT support keep-alive.
So she initiates the TCP sonnection - gets the data (1 file) - cloeses
the connection
opens - gets - closes - opens .....

With keep-alive you
open - get - get - get - get (last file) - close

I wonder why Michael has still not implemented it.
(you notice it most when many small graphics are used, like in the arachne
homepage)

Sorry ... but this is exactly the WRONG !!! way ....
HTML was invented to be independant of displays !!!

Eg you can display the page on a 25'' Monitor with 16 zillion colors as
well as on a Linux console using Lynx or links (great program BTW).
