PPP Link Is Down, Driver Not Installed???

I get the above error message ("PPP Link Is Down, Driver Not Installed") everytime I try and connect to the Internet, my modem lights flash but then this message pops up.  I was wondering if someone could tell me what to do so I can connect before I go away on holidays this Thursday afternoon.       Thanks in advance.   Sincerely       Curtis Matthiesen
