Getting different things mixed in the same directory can create confusion,
making it difficult to uninstall, and installing a new APM creates the risk of
overwriting an already existing file with another file having the same name.
Whenever I UNZIP a ZIP file, I always UNZIP to a separate new directory.
Two other issues are lack of visible file dates on the download page, creating
the nuisance of downloading the same thing multiple times, and having to
reinstall for every new Arachne release. I've fallen behind, neglecting to
install APMs since somewhere around 1.50b2. There ought to be an easy way to
upgrade from one Arachne to the next, saving the APMs already installed, and not
have to go through the Arachne install wizards every time. I wonder why they're
called wizards just as I wonder why the Electoral College is called college,
bearing no resemblance to institutions of higher learning.
