Thanks, Clarence, for clarification on some of those oddities of Arachne
installation. I think I once had an ARACHNE.CFG with the Profile line deleted,
and no ill consequences from that omission/deletion.
A better way to beta-test would be by directly editing ARACHNE.CFG. Maybe a
text file with instructions on how to edit the settings would work; surely it
would be easier than programming the wizards.
It looks like I'm unable to use long file names support, not having anything
that would recognize VFAT.

Does anybody know how to install APMs so as to survive from one Arachne to the
next, without having to be reinstalled every time with a new Arachne release?
Michael, maybe we need to be able to install APMs to a separate directory, or
separate directories, and have an APMPATH in ARACHNE.CFG?
