Sure there are others, someday I might try one of the BSDs and BEOS. But I
somehow doubt that they are good enough anyway.

Play mp3s in the background while you do anything (yes I do mean anything -
well not reformatting the HD that the MP3s are on perhaps <G>) while it
plays. I've already reported on this before - you use Open Cubic Player to
do it. You do need about twice the ammount of RAM as compared to the size
of the file you want to play.

Depends on the himem.sys version you have. IIRC the one from Win98 can
handle atleast 256MB.
And for those who wonder what I'm going to use all that CPU power to the
answer is that I'm going to use it to view movies in Windows... My K6-2 400
"isn't fast enough" ;-)
