Not likely.
Gerald, Arachne.cfg is written by the various setup screens in Arachne.
You can manually edit it yourself for more control, but you must view
keywords.txt for some explanations. A much better approach would be to
copy Guenters' .cfg and just modify the parts that would be specific to
you like username/password and modem information.
Actually, Guenter is one of the best experts in Arachne. You are very
lucky to be able to visit him. Try whatever he suggests. <g>
