Hi Glenn and all,

since end of November 2000 I'm in conversation (eMail and telephon)
with Gerald. I think we have tried and checked everything what there
is to check: COM-Ports, BIOS table, Interrupt table, free Memory,
autoexec.bat, config.sys, bootmenue, arachne.cfg, 'portinfo' identified
his modem, all looks fine.
It's an external 'ELSA Microlink 56k BASIC'. We have downloaded the
manual to see if its a 'real' or 'cripple' modem. But nothing to read
about this.
Now, my question: Does anybody know if ELSA Microlink 56k BASIC is a
real or cripple one??
