I too also keep a backup copy. BTW, write-protecting ARACHNE.CFG is not
really a good solution to the problem, especially for those who like to
change their user options while in the middle of a session. Most of us
might frequently have a need to turn frames and/or images off. In order
to change these options, the write-protect attribute must first be removed.
