Try http://www.mail2web.com for deleting those sticky mails. No JavaScript! BTW, Laurie, the program I'd seen the other day was Checkmail, much smaller than the proggy recommended by Crapserve, but is also for Windows (of greater or lesser clarity) and is from 1996. ftp://ftp.simtel.net/pub/simtelnet/win3/email/chkmail.zip 82kB I couldn't make it work, and it probably wouldn't help with deleting mail, but there's a much larger Win9x version also available.
