Sam,

It *doesn't* matter how you connect to your ISP. 

Arachne will do certain things when you hit hot-keys, and one of those
things is that it will attempt to dial if you hit ALT-D.

I'm a cable connect now, but when I hit ALT-D Arachne reacts ... with an
error message, since the phone modem isn't even "installed" when I'm
using the Arachne configuration(s).
