Hey, Sam; Thot I should let you know, a few months back, after problems with hotmail, and yahoo email, you told me about subdimension.com. I have been using it since and am quite happy with it, so I'll give a bit of critique. I would say it's run on a shoestring by some bandmembers whose server can be a touch flaky once in a while and their news and postings can get a little dated also. But they have chat rooms, and forums, and music downloads, and some interesting discussions. They've had to take on more advertising lately to keep going, but the site is no big, push you around bunch of BS like yahoo, hotmail or m$. They don't have SMTP, just pop3 and webmail but both work just fine with Arachne, and Links in BasicLinux. Pop3 works fine with Nettamer, but I have a problem at the login for webmail with it, altho' that could be me! Netscape 3.04 has a problem loading and viewing the webmail sometimes, but again that could be me. The site is easy to read and get around in a text browser too. So if you can get by without SMTP you might want to check it out.
