So if you can get by without SMTP you might want to check it out. Thanks for your thoughts, Rob. I am totally in agreement with your critique of "subdimension.com", but I can't comment on your observations about its performance with NetScape because I have never tried it at the site. I have had an alternate email account at "subdimension.com" for about three years now. I use it frequently, mainly for pop3 and for doing newsgroups with Nettamer. I only very seldom get spammed there. When it comes to doing web-based email I prefer the www interface offered by "myrealbox.com" over "subdimension.com", although both will work with Arachne. I don't have much in common with the kind of folks who run the service at "subdimension.com", and I don't get involved with their chat rooms and forums. I just leave them alone and don't bother them so they can concentrate more on keeping up with the good work. As long as they want to continue to offer such an excellent free service for me I don't want to get ornery with them about how all their opinions about politics and religion differ so much from mine.
