  I don't get that much.  Maybe 70 a month, and some
of those are from here, believe it or not.  Since all
these messages are archived and web-accessible, the
spambots can find you here just as easily as on usenet.

  Use 
X-No-Archive: yes 
in your news articles, and they don't get archived.
OTOH, everything you write to this list DOES get 
archived, and there's no such "out" as with newsgroups.
