Yes, you need to telnet to sdf.lonestar.org to open an account. (which is exactly what it says on the website). If you go there with SSHDOS you will get a password prompt. But, the Arachne CUTCP telnet APM will not work. I used the telnet client in Basic Linux to open my new account. I can now use SSHDOS from a shelled out Arachne using LSPPP to connect with sdf.lonestar.org. It is not necessary to have a WATTCP.cfg already setup because if you don't have one already then SSHDOS will go ahead and write one. I don't know how it manages to do that. It first looks for a WATTCP.cfg and will use one if it finds it, but if not then it writes one. I'll confess to not understanding BOOTP at all.
