Maybe you misunderstand me. Due to laziness my email index frequently
has around two hundred old messages in it. Then I download new ones,
including the new batch of spam. I'd like the index to go at my
option automatically to the first new message listing in the index.
(I don't want the message itself, just to be at that place in the
index.) Then I could click and delete the spam and other stuff that
I don't want from the index. And then click on the message I want
to read and go from there.

Usually I do something else during downloads, so they don't bother
me. And I don't want to bother with a two step procedure of
downloading headers and then messages. But that's my preferance.

Added features should always be options left to the user, that way
we can both be happy.
