Yup, same here.

The problem of having the Inbox index looking at the first message
rather than the first of the latest download is easily solved by
EMPTYING the Inbox BEFORE doing the mail download. Then the first
message in the Inbox is the first one of the download.

The mail that was left in the Inbox from previous downloads should
either have been moved to the mail folders or trashed. Or if it is
waiting attention, it could be moved to the Urgent folder.

It is NOT necessary to keep old mail in the Inbox.

If they haven't had time to read it, why the **** are they downloading
another lot of mail anyway?

Do they want to be like a government clerk who always keeps a lot of
stuff piled up in his "IN" basket to show how busy he can pretend to be?
