I could do it, I'm the one who posted about this conflict but I'm not member of any community , I always kept from doing so due to the opposition between the two websites. Now I know my partiality could be put in doubt, and I can accept it. So let's do things in order. 1- Are you in favor of a mediation ? ( Benoit you just put yourself against it as I'm writing this mail, but I ask you to reconsider this. I don't think this problem can be solved by direct communication between the two groups because of the heated environment, mediation can try to keep the discussions on topic and avoid attacks.) 2- Is someone against my proposal to take the lead of this mediation ? After that, if mediation is accepted by both side, we can discuss how to do it ( on this mailing list or elsewhere, public or not. Personally I would prefer in public so the discussions could be followed by anyone.)
