You are welcome..

James,

Thats what I suggested.. Going by the Timestamp would definitely yield wrong results and the best bet would be to go by field ID's.. Sometimes there are reasons though you might want to create ID's below the User Range mark, which might cause a few difficulties tracking like if there were Global Fields created, or if there were some reserved fields created...

Another good approach might be to search the database by the contents of the Change history. BMC / Remedy have the habit of stamping their fields with some standard text which contains standard strings that can be searched for like BMC Software...

Even if a admin has 'copied' a field using Cntrl+C to copy a BMC field from one form to another during the process of 'customization' the contents of the Change history remains blank and does not get copied.

Also the 'Owner' of BMC fields is usually a string called Remedy. However if during customization you copy a BMC field, then this Owner string gets copied (unfortunately - bad design I think even if it is 'working' as designed).

So to conclude the contents of your Change History on fields might be the better option to search for at DB level to check what fields belong to Remedy and what does not...

Joe, thanks for the suggestion. I do have a group of fields in the
"customer range" that I can look at. At least it will get me on the
right track.

Thanks

Kyle
