** One area that we got burned on once was in CITRIX. The admin set up all users to share the same home folder. Over time, 1000's of ARF files built up in the HOME folder and took the User tool longer and longer to display a form. The user tool had to hunt through 1000's of files (arf and arv) to find the one for the form the user was requesting. Clearing out the HOME folder immediately improved performance.

If that is not it I would strongly look at all of the SQL running when the Control Panel opens.

My recommendation may work with them instead of against.  More memory is a good thing when you are looking at a database, especially when it is being used extensively.

And keeping the Consolidated List trimmed is a good thing.

However, this will not help in most cases when it takes a long time for a form to appear as this table is usually not looked at to bring up a blank form.

fast - 6 to 12
list - 6 to 14
Conslist has half a million closed rows, I guess I should setup an escalation to delete some of those.  :)  thanks.

All great information, thanks to all by the way.

DB - Yes, we've been leaning on them to try and get the other app off our DB server, apparently it's some kind of "fairly busy" app owned by the networking folks.
